Environmental Management System

To prevent harmful environmental effects, AAEM created in 2016 and maintains the Environmental Management System (EMS) based on the requirements of GOST R ISO 14001‑2016 (ISO 14001:2015).

Scope of applicability of AAEM EMS covers the activities in the sphere of  design of turbine hall systems, including supervised installation, commissioning and provision of technical consulting services, equipment engineering, project management activities, surveying and retrofit of packaged equipment and individual components for nuclear and fossil power plants, including the activities of an administrative function.

The top management and employees of AAEM are fully aware of the environmental responsibility and prioritize ecology as they respect the values and principles of the Environmental, Health and Safety Policy.

AAEM strictly follows the existing environmental legislation, including the Federal Law On Environmental Protection dated January 10, 2012 No. 7-FZ and the Federal Law On Production and Consumption Waste dated June 24, 1998 No. 89-FZ and other normative acts of the Government of the Russian Federation, territorial entities of the Russian Federation and local authorities.

AAEM maintains eco-friendly activities, develops and enacts local regulatory documents for the EMS, uses new cutting edge technology, equipment and materials.

AAEM employees regularly upgrade skills, take additional training, update and improve the knowledge of the environmental legislation and evaluate the effectiveness of the performance indicators within the EMS and potential environmental effects.

AAEM employees conduct systematic work aimed at reducing the negative impact on the environment and reducing the level of consumed resources.

The Company is also a part of the the Environmental Policy of Rosatom State Corporation and Environmental Policy of Atomenergomash.
