Nuclear power plant retrofit
AAEM offers retrofit services by providing both component-wise and comprehensive equipment retrofit solutions:
- Replacement of blade systems with new ones featuring better profiles and high aerodynamic characteristics
- Improvement of capacity and reliability and extension of the service life and overhaul intervals of the generator
- Improvement of reliability and reduction of losses in current-carrying parts of the generator stator winding and rotor
- Expansion of insulation temperature limits, strengthening of the generator structural components, reduction of vibrations in the rotor, stator and stator end casings
- Efficient use of the reactor thermal power (actual and expected) and increase of the turbine generator set output
- Optimization of the turbine generator set and BoP with an aim to increase the power plant reliability and cost efficiency
